Interested in Joining Beta?
Since its beginnings in 2004, the men of Beta Theta Pi have consistently elevated the standards of the Greek community. Through a steady recruitment of well-known social and academic men of this campus, the Zeta Omega Chapter of Beta has developed into a nationally awarded chapter, and I’d like to extend you an invitation to get to know us better during 2012 Spring Rush, February 14th-21st.
Beta was recently awarded the Dean's Trophy for Fraternity Excellence and Greek Man of the Year, as well as the Award of Distinction from the North-American Interfraternity Conference last year.
But why should I rush? This question consistently hassles many potential Greeks.
Socially, I can assure you a fraternity is not paying for friends. It is choosing to commit oneself to countless social events that only add to your experience at USD. Make sure to ask anyone on campus, and they will tell you Beta has consistently been considered one of the most exciting fraternities on campus. Our men are known for their social reputation as gentlemen, a reputation we don’t take lightly.
If you highly value your academics, know that Betas do too. Claiming the highest overall fraternity GPA for 9 of the last 10 semesters is something Beta greatly values. Our men consistently hold esteemed positions in the various fields they study, and are readily available to help anyone who seeks it.
Any Beta will tell you to be a Man of Principle, you must first be a gentleman. If you are such, the brotherhood you establish and character of the work you do will follow.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about this fraternity, never hesitate to contact me at (916) 218-2318 or at dbittner@sandiego.edu.
Sincerely,
David J. Bittner
